Accountability & Progress Monitoring
We perform structured assessments throughout the program to objectively measure progress and adjust the training as needed. -
Multi-Domain Cognitive Training
We go far beyond memory and attention—our programs address processing speed, executive function, working memory, problem-solving, recall, visual memory, verbal memory and other language related memory training, and more. -
Real Human Support
Clients work directly with a specialist—not just an app—building confidence, motivation, and lasting cognitive skills.

About Me
I am a neurologist and board certified since 2004 by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). I completed my residency years at Ohio State University. I became interested in the field of dementia and cognitive disorders since my early years of training, and I have been seeing patients with neurological disorders including cognitive changes and dementias since then. I am an associate professor of neurology, and I worked at St. Louis University for many years managing the dementia clinic there and at my current position at the VA hospital.

I was frustrated with the lack of resources for my patients and I pursuit additional training and I became a certified life and health coach over the recent years, and I started using the skills that I acquired during my study of coaching toward providing further care for my patients and I provide them with the quality care they expect.

Memory training is a recent topic that has been proven to be superior to many other approaches in managing patients with dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment. There is enough data in the literature to supports its benefit. Unfortunately, since it is not covered by health insurance, it has not been utilized by the health care providers despite the scientific data that showed clearly its value that can last up to 10 years.
There are several types of Dementia, and not all dementias have the same presentation. Some dementias are reversible when they are related to a known cause - see later.
Memory is only one domaine of cognition. There are other domains that can be affected in dementia - See later.
Memory loss is mostly affected in Alzheimer's Disease, but it can also occur in different dementias.
Not all Alzheimer's Disease cases start with memory changes or memory loss. In early onset Alzheimer's disease, the memory may be affected last in the course of the disease.
Different dementias present with different pattern of memory loss. There are several types of memory.
Age is the single most important risk factor for dementia of Alzheimer's type, and when Alzheimer's start at less than 65 years of age, it is called Early Onset Alzheimer's (EOA).
Memory Training (or Cognitive Training) has been established to improve memory performance, attention, recall, and executive functions. Brain images such as MRI showed improved memory centers' sizes after a memory training program. Functional brain studies (such as PET scan) showed improve connectivity within neurons and increased neuroplasticity as well as increased metabolism in the brain and reduce protein deposits in the brain (in case of Alzheimer's disease). The clinical improvement was reported to last up to 5 years later in patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment.
